Kakira Gold

Kakira Gold

Kakira Gold Rum is distilled from the finest sugar cane grown on the Kakira Sugar Estate in eastern Uganda. Located on the shores of Lake Victoria at the source of the River Nile. The fertile land, temperate climate, and unique terrain combine to yield a complex and aromatic special rum. Our pot distilled rums are solera aged in select American Bourbon barrels and Spanish Sherry casks.

Kakira: True African Spirit
It is very rare that you come across an entirely new spirits producer. Sure, there are many new brands out there, even new products, but seldom is there an entirely new producer on the scene.
Kakira is just that. An entirely new producer – 100% grass to glass. Or at least new to the world of rum and spirits, but perhaps not an entirely new company.

Founded in the 1930s in the village of Kakira on the shores of Lake Victoria in Uganda, Kakira Sugar has been the largest grower-producer of sugar in East Africa for nearly a century.
Around 12 years ago, the two managing directors of Kakira Sugar, Mayur and Kamlesh Madhvani (uncle and nephew respectively), embarked on ambitious project to create a new spirits brand with their sugar cane at its heart. For some time Kakira had been fermenting and distilling their molasses by-product in one of Africa’s largest continuous stills and selling the 96.6% ‘Extra Neutral Alcohol’ to well known international drinks and pharmaceutical companies.

As a big fan of single malt whiskies, Mayur and Kamlesh were intrigued by the potential of the Kakira Estate to produce hand-crafted, cask aged spirits and they set about designing a bespoke distillery.
They brought together a team of industry experts, headed by Master Distiller Brent Stephens, a native of Charleston in South Carolina, who set about all the technical aspects of producing amazing quality rums. From Germany, a 7,000 litre Kothe hybrid pot still and a top-of-the-range Krones bottle filler; from the USA, Bourbon casks from Heaven Hills and Buffalo Trace; and from Spain, Sherry casks of Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenes wines and all of it housed in an entirely new distillery building.

However there is so much more to great spirits than equipment alone – the place, the people and the craft all have to come together to make something as extraordinary as Kakira.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Shimmering rich golden colour with a sparkling clarity
Aroma: Vanilla, coconut and ripe banana
Taste: Honey, almond, over-ripe fruits and warm earthy flavours
Finish: Very long, dry, aromatic finish with notes of leather and cigar-box

Naga Anggur

Naga Anggur

Batavia Arrack - NAGA Anggur fruit of marriage between Indonesian spirit and Saint-Emilion wine. NAGA Anggur symbolizes the reunion of Bordeaux origins of the creators of NAGA rum and their passion for rum and travel that led them to discover the Batavia Arrack, the Indonesian rum. Thus, NAGA Anggur is the fruit of the marriage between the Indonesian spirit and the wine of Saint Emilion, between the NAGA Java Reserve and Château Pas de l’Ane.

Red Wine Cask Finish - From Indonesia – Java Island to Indochinese peninsula…. Naga Rums explore asian traditions of sugar cane cultivation and rum distillation.
The Nagas are one of the cultural and mythological links that unite this immense territory that stretches from the Bay of Bengal to the Java Sea, from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. The figure of Naga is associated with water and fertility; the naga can be protective, nurturing and even creative. And although they live in their own kingdom, some nagas can transform themselves to visit the world of humans in the form of a snake or a handsome young man. The name Naga is that of the mythical creature of Asia, Serpent guardian of the treasures of the earth and symbol of prosperity, fertility and protector Of the treasures of nature. The nāga is a mythical being of Hinduism, but the word also means basically: serpent. The naga in religion keep the treasures of nature, are attached to water and bring prosperity. In the legends of India and all of Southeast Asia, the nâgas are inhabitants of the underworld where they jealously guard the treasures of the earth. It is also in the naga that the fertility of the soil is due.

Elaboration process:
1. Extraction of barrels (Seguin Moreau / French oak) that contained during 18 months of the Château pas de l’Ane 2018 at Saint Emilion
2. They are then filled again but this time with 65% NAGA Java Reserve rum
3. After 2 months in barrels the rum is racked, filtered and then bottled

Tasting notes: From tropical Indonesia to Bordeaux vineyards…
The nose is a perfect balance between the spicy notes of rum and the fruity and woody notes of the wine. In the mouth again it is the rum that we recognize first with its aromas of candied fruits. Then come the elegant tannins of this beautiful Saint Emilion 2018, these red and black fruits typical of this terroir. Finally, rum and wine are at the end of the palate where the spicy notes of one and the other blend harmoniously and leave the palate greedy cravings elsewhere.

Mocambo 20 YO

Mocambo 20 YO

Magnificent and exclusive creation. Our Art Edition pays homage to the old pre-Columbian techniques, mixed with an Añejo Rum of flavor and character, that only the nobility of origin and the knowledge of time can give us. The unique vision of Maestro Víctor Fernández, with the vegetable fibers of the amate, lead him to decorate this wonderful Rum applying the ancient Mexican arts in contemporary art.

Art Edition
Aging : Aged at 900 meters above sea level in a humid subtropical climate, in European white oak wine barrels. Ron Mocambo 20 years imperial magnum, is a limited art edition, packaged in a 5-liter presentation, exclusive creation of Veracruz liquors. Every artist portrays his environment, and in Córdoba – land, exuberant and noble – he takes sugarcane as raw material, brought by the first Europeans when they discovered America, and which found the ideal elements for its cultivation in our region. In Córdoba, climate and altitude seem to have conspired, for more than four hundred years, to give the most delicate notes to drinks produced from sugar cane honey. Rum has been, throughout history, a drink of nobles, pirates, and soldiers. It has been medicine, amulet. It has been spread in celebrations and for many it has been the only consolation. It has gone around the world several times, changing its name, its color, hiding its origin. It is a legend that, finally liquid, takes the shape and name of the container that contains it: Ron Mocambo 20 Art Edition is total art.

Tasting Notes:

Color : Mahogany color, with golden and amber flashes. Perfectly clean. Excellent brilliance and high density that promises a great body, suggestive and slow draining.
Nose : Complex, very interesting, the attack is dominated by the barrel, notes of vanilla, caramel, almonds, hazelnuts and tobacco.
Palate : Balanced, pleasant and refined; very fine on the palate with a subtle and elegant woody finish

Camikara 8 YO

Camikara 8 YO

With its name derived from Sanskrit for ‘liquid gold’, Camikara is the first pure cane juice rum produced in India. Aged in American Oak Casks, Camikara has no added colour, caramel, sugar or flavours, making it a 100% naturally aged rum that is best sipped neat.

CAMIKARA: Agricole Style Rum
Camikara – Revolutionizing the Indian rum industry with a new category of pure cane juice rum, a departure from the common practice of using molasses or by-products of sugarcane.
India, the world's largest sugarcane producer, has never created a quality, luxury rum. Although there have been several brands available in the Indian market, they have always been at the entry level. A premium category rum capable of competing on a worldwide platform and making India proud has never been researched.

Derived from the Sanskrit word for ‘liquid gold’, Camikara, India's first pure cane juice rum, is carefully crafted and matured in American oak barrels. This exceptional rum undergoes an extensive aging process of 8 long years in the sub-tropical Indian climate with an average angel share of 10%.
Inspired by the age-old practice of distilling cane juice to create the local brew called Laahan in Punjab, Camikara pays homage to the Indian farmers who have dedicated centuries to growing and distilling sugarcane. It is reviving the nation's rum legacy with premium offerings resulting in a remarkable celebration of the land, time, culture, and people. Camikara was born for two reasons: to rediscover the past; and to pave the way for the future.

Bottled at 42.8% ABV, Camikara stands as a testament to purity, as it contains no added flavors, colors, spices, or sweeteners. It is a 100% natural sipping rum, allowing the true essence of the cane juice to shine through.

Constellation’s Rum: A new era for Rum is coming…

Behind Constellation’s Rum:

What would you expect when craftsmanship and mastery join innovation and technique under one only purpose? This is Smart Crafting; this is Minds Blending.

This is the lovely purpose of the Art of Blending.

Through this noble spirituous, we want to pay tribute to the beautiful and world-renowned sky of the Canary Islands. We have captured the essence of the most representative constellations of the Four Seasons crafting a rum inspired by each of them.

Pussers Rum Blue Label

Pussers Rum Blue Label

Pusser’s Rum Blue Label is an iconic rum that carries forward one of the most famous traditions in British naval history. For over 300 years, British sailors were issued their daily ration of rum — a practice known as The Daily Tot — and Pusser’s is the official guardian of this maritime legacy.

Blue Label represents the very essence of the original navy rum, which was measured and blended aboard Royal Navy ships according to strict Admiralty specifications. Today, it is still produced using authentic methods, and Pusser’s holds the exclusive rights to the exact recipe once used by the British Navy until Black Tot Day in 1970, when the daily rum ration was officially abolished.

Pusser’s Blue Label is therefore more than just a rum; it’s a living story of sailors’ harsh life at sea, discipline, camaraderie, and the small rituals that lifted morale during long voyages around the globe. It embodies a rich history that makes it popular among collectors, maritime enthusiasts, and rum drinkers who appreciate authenticity.

Today, Pusser’s Rum Blue Label is often used to craft classic tiki and navy cocktails, but it also stands as a symbol of British seafaring tradition. Its label, bottle design, and branding reflect this historical heritage and serve as a tribute to the men and women who once sailed under the White Ensign.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Clear, dark amber.

Nose: Classic Demerara sugar, molasses, dried fruits, island spices, and caramel.

Palate: Lush flavors of mint chocolate and marshmallows. The finish is gentle and soft with notes of vanilla leaving a silky mouthfeel.

Body: Full, round and perfect for cocktails.

Finish: Long finish with a mild spicy burn.

Millonarioa Número 15

Millonarioa Número 15

From a historic distillery reawakened in the early 2000’s, Ron Millonario embodies Peru’s rich spirit and variety, offering beautiful, craft-distilled rums aged meticulously at sea level.
As they reach their 20th year, they unveil their new spirit ‘Reserva Especial Número 15’ livery, honouring achievements and those who champion them.

The Millonario name embodies the bright ideas essential to achieving dream. They seized this opportunity to refresh its expression with a confident and ascending design. Ron Millonario came to light in Peru, where myths and legends continue to inspire the extra-ordinary. We celebrate this magic combination with pride and authenticity. The straw is naturally linked to Peruvian craftmanship. After years of using it, they transitioned to a production-friendly alternative, improving the quality feel for this exceptional spirit. Peru is the home of the Incas, where gold connects the natural world to their reverence for the divine. To honour this bond, they adorned the Sun motif with circular geometrics inspired by Inca cluture. Fine spirits deserve beautiful presentations. Thus, they chose to meticulously craft every detail that decorates Millonario's livery. Número 15 indicates their number of criterias for exceptional spirit, from premium sugar cane to ideal aging and expert blending. Their new design honours the perfect marriage of these elements.

The Reserva Especial name holds a great significance for Millonario: it means they select only the finest spirits. They took the opportunity to elevate this descriptor with more impact. Also know as Inti, the sun holds special significance for Millonario and Peru. Their new expression showcases a radiant and friendly brightness, symbol of life and vitality. Besides the vicuña and cinchona tree, the Horn of Plenty symbolizes abundance, a fitting emblem for Millonario. Thus, it naturally deserves its place on the new Millonario expression.

Tasting Notes:

NOSE: Intense and captivating, with deep notes of sultana raisins, dried figs, plums and dates, with a dark aroma of sugarcane molasses and chestnut honey, and a hint of bergamot fragrance. Warm and rich, the aromatic intensity and velvety bouquet hides the alcohol.

PALATE: A very sweet and enveloping attack, on vanilla, toffee, candied oranges and dates. It’s very honeyed, rich with the taste of sugarcane molasses and notes of rich milk chocolate, but there also is a delicate balsamic note of minty freshness. Then hints of cola nut, cloves and herbal liqueur. Its intensity keeps growing, overwhelming and voluptuous.

FINISH: Warm, velvety, enveloping. Sweet and caressing, honeyed, but on a final twist of red chili pepper and aromatic herbs.

Ninefold Dormont Spiced

Ninefold Dormont Spiced

A Scottish spiced rum made from our award winning Pure Single Rum.

Five miles from Lockerbie, in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland lies Dormont Estate. Owned and farmed by the Carruthers family for nearly half a millennium, the heart of the estate is now home to Ninefold Rum Distillery. Built in 2018 in a converted dairy by youngest son, Kit, Ninefold launched in the summer of 2019 and has been building a quiet, but enviable, reputation within the industry.
Kit’s founding ethos was to make rums entirely from first principles, and be open, honest and authentic about how everything is made. To that end, Kit makes his own rum from scratch using North African sugar cane molasses, fermented and double pot-distilled in a custom Scottish copper pot still to his own recipe.

Pure Single Rum, an unaged ‘white’ rum, was the first product out of the door. A versatile, full-bodied fruity rum that’s become a bartender’s favourite, Pure Single Rum established the distillery’s credentials for quality and tasty rum. Since 2019, the distillery’s core lineup has expanded to include an overproof unaged rum, a core aged expression matured in fresh American oak, and two spiced rums, including Dormont Spiced.

Care and compassion are also fundamental pillars on which Ninefold Distillery’s business is built. They endorse and contribute to charities and causes that support, train, and elevate underrepresented groups within the drinks industry. The distillery motto is “Our Rums, Your Way”.

Tasting Notes: Subtly spiced and balanced with nutmeg, allspice and aniseed, with a little sugar for rounding and natural caramel for colour. Hints of orange and caramel, and a peppery finish.

Ron Double 9 - Gran Reserva

Ron Double 9 - Gran Reserva

Double 9 - Cuban Tradition

Ron Doble 9 is a real Cuban rum inspired by Cuban identity and culture. The result of the sugar production tradition and the art of rum-making. Dark amber colour, with light fruit bouquet, persistent and soft that goes from wood to phenol with an almond sweet hint.

The origin of the Doble 9 naming comes from the denomination of Cuban domino, that is played in Cuba. It consists of having 55 pieces and not the 28 of the classical domino. The origin of this modification of the traditional dominoes that the Cubans made, is a real unknown.. The origin of the DOBLE 9 Rum is a tribute to the first tobacco growers of Cuba, before the production of the cigar leaf became massive, and the magic of the artisan work of expert hands was lost. The work in “las vegas” where the pure tobacco leaf was grown was very hard. It was a manual work that pampered the cultivation to the maximum, so as not to lose its characteristic essence. After those long days, tired but happy for their work, the tobacco growers would meet under the moonlight where they enjoyed a cigar along with a glass of exquisite rum. On one of those warm nights, with a crescent moon, one of the elders thought that, since he could not accelerate the phases of the moon to have better vision, why not lengthen the game (cuban domino) and make it more durable and enjoy more time of those lovely nights.

The DOBLE 9 pays tribute to the effort and tenacity of the first Cuban tobacco growers. A deserved recognition to the Cuban culture and a game that is enjoyed in a good company, like a Good and smooth 100% Cuban Rum.

Tasting Notes: A dark, more syrupy rum akin to certain flavoured liqueurs such as Cognac, Gran Reserva brings a persistent, smooth mouth feel full of hints of almonds and sugar. Many Cubans enjoy Gran Reserva rum in Criollo coffee and/or with a Habano cigar while relaxing over a game of dominoes.
