The Ron Cristóbal series presents a range of premium rums for the adventurers of the world! Named after the famous world explorer Christopher Colombus and bearing his portrait, this rum is produced in the Dominican Republic where Colombus planted the first sugar cane in the Caribbean and showcases the unique rum flavours this region has to offer.
Within the Ron Cristóbal series you’ll find rums suitable for cocktails and bars as well as three premium rums named after Colombus’ ships. The range pays homage to the historical aspects of drinking rum; and every sip is a new adventure!
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Very pleasant and mild with warm vanilla aromas combined with a delicate woodyness followed by hints of fresh mint.
Palate: A mild sweetness is filling the mouth turning into fresh mint and marcipan. This rum is fresh, juicy and easy drinkable. It’s very balanced and has a subtle wooden note.
Excellent rhum. Sens bon, doux mais très complet, pleins d’arômes équilibrés. Fruité, resté en bouche un goût léger presque de bonbon

Too sweet for me. Too low a proof as well to really determine the quality of this rum.
A real fruity taste. With strong taste of sugar and vanilla. Unfortunate not especially mild, instead a strong hint of alcohol in the taste despite its low percentage of only 40% a little bit of bitterness in the finish. Middle long finish.
Desirae gives this a 3.5. While the nose was super subtle, I got cinnamon, light sugar and moreso Acetone. The Palate was an amazing adventure full of caramel, cooked banana, vanilla, pepper, and licorice. If I was at a store I’d buy it for the flavour, history and portrait.
Ryan 4 Stars, nose: warm spices, vanilla, banana. Taste: sweet, caramel, same warm spices, vanilla. A pleasant experience would drink again.
